Baked Berry Oats | Christmas Morning Breakfast Idea

This refined sugar-free portable breakfast snack tastes ridiculously moist and sweet. It can be eaten alone cold or warm with natural yogurt.

Made in a tray bake once cooled it can be cut into serving sizes and stored in an air tight container for 3 days or even in the freezer for 3 months, then when needed it just needs to be defrosted in the microwave or the oven to add crunch.


Christmas Breakfast Ingredients

 

  • 150g rolled porridge oats
  • 75g baby apple sauce
  • 50g Myprotein Instant Oats
  • 50g mixed frozen berries
  • 30g sultanas
  • 25g omega seed mix
  • 1 tbs coconut oil
  • 1 tbs cashew butter
  • 2 tbsp natural honey
  • 2 eggs [/su_list]

Christmas Breakfast Method

Firstly start by pouring boiling water over the sultanas and allow to swell

To a mixing bowl add porridge oats, instant oats, frozen berries and sultanas stir until evenly mixed

Melt the coconut oil in the microwave then add apple sauce, honey and 2 eggs – beat together and pour over the dry mix

Combine everything together and pour into a baking lined tray and sprinkle with Omega seed mix

Bake in the oven for 25 minutes on 375 F

Once cooked remove from the oven, cut into potion sizes and leave on a cooling rack

Once cooled they can be stored in portion sizes for 5 days in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer.
