Banana and Peanut Butter Protein Bars Recipe
If you’re looking for an energy hit before the gym why not try these super easy to make protein banana and peanut butter protein bars. These bars are made with oats and bananas to give you a sustained release of energy during a workout, with a huge dose of muscle fueling protein!
To make these banana and peanut butter protein bars you’ll need:
100g of oats
1 scoop of Myprotein instant oats (30g)
1 tablespoon of flax seed powder
2 ripe bananas (around 4oz)
100g of crunchy peanut butter
2 tablespoons of honey
Making these protein bars is super easy! Start by Preheating the oven to 350 degrees.
Using a food processor or a hand blender blend and mash your bananas, peanut butter and honey.
Stir in your instant oats, rolled oats, flax seed and protein powder.
Line a square baking tray with grease proof paper and press down your mixture using a spoon or your hands.
Place your bars in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove, allow to cool and cut into squares.
To add some excitement to your bars try adding chocolate chips or coating with dark chocolate!
