With summer here, it's the perfect time for a frozen dessert, and we've got just the thing. This High-Protein Chocolate Cheesecake Ice Cream by Jordan Desira will indulge your senses while helping you hit your macros. This creamy, rich treat is perfect for cooling down on a hot day. Ingredients
- 2 scoops Myprotein Chocolate Impact Whey protein powder
- 500 grams 2% or full fat cottage cheese (full fat freezes better, we used 2% in this recipe)
- 3 drops Myprotein FlavDrops
- 1.5 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1-2 teaspoons sweetener
- 1 Myprotein Chocolate Protein Wafer (1/2 wafer chopped and 1/2 for topping)
Instructions
In a blender, combine all the ingredients aside from the protein wafer and blend until completely smooth.
Pour mixture back into your container of choice and mix through any extra preferred add-ins along with 1/2 a Myprotein chocolate wafer chopped. Save the other half of the wafer for a crunchy ice cream topping.
Place in the freezer for 2-3 hours or until frozen through; stir mixture throughout this time for a soft serve/smooth scoop or wait until completely frozen and let defrost slightly before serving. If using lower-fat cottage cheese, the ice cream will freeze more solidly than if using higher fat.
Finish each serving with the remaining Myprotein chocolate wafer and enjoy!
