We know powerlifters require a strict regimen, both at the gym and in the kitchen, to be able to do what they do. But what foods and supplements are they using to fuel their bodies for success?

We checked in with World Champion powerlifter Gavin Adin to see what a natural powerlifter eats in a day.

Let's see how he maintains his impressive muscle mass and breaks records.

Breakfast

For breakfast, Gavin focuses on getting sufficient protein and carbs and prefers foods rich in micronutrients. For protein, Gavin has eggs in the morning. For carbs, he'll have oatmeal, cereal, or a healthier version of a bagel.

He'll then take his own Myprotein blend, which includes 20 grams of Creatine Monohydrate, Clear Whey Electrolyte, and a pre-workout.

With all of those supps, Gavin will consume 36 oz of water to ensure he gets his fluids in.

After breakfast, Gavin will train and then have protein. He'll take our MyPRO line’s THE Whey in Chocolate Fudge or the Mike & Ike Clear Whey Isolate in Strawberry or Sour Cherry.

Lunch

After his protein supp, Gavin will do some cardio and then have steak or salmon with rice for lunch, getting a solid amount of natural protein.

Dinner

For Dinner, Gavin repeats his lunch meal.

Take Home Message

There you have it, as a natural powerlifter, Gavin Adin keeps up with the competition with predominantly protein and carbs, using Myprotein supps to enhance his protein intake and maintain muscle mass.
