Need something sweet to get you through the day?

These Healthy Chocolate Donuts from Myprotein ambassador @raziyyz will hit the spot. With six grams of protein per donut, these treats will get you closer to your daily protein goal.

Plus, you can make them in just 15 minutes. Let's check it out.

Servings
6 donuts

Ingredients

  • Donuts :
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats (blended into a fine powder)
  • 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder (Razi used Myprotein Impact Whey)
  • 1/3 cup any milk (Razi used 1% standard milk)
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp any sweetener (Razi uses low-calorie maple syrup)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Icing :
  • 2 (heaping) tbsp light cream cheese (Razi uses 95% light and lets it get to room temp)
  • 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp any milk (add more or less for desired consistency)

Instructions

1.

In a medium-sized bowl, mash the banana and add the blended oats, protein powder, cocoa powder, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, milk, sweetener, and salt. Mix together.

2.

Add your batter to a donut mold and bake at 350F for 10-11 minutes.

3.

For the icing, get a small bowl and combine the cream cheese, protein powder, cocoa powder, and milk. Mix well.

4.

Dip your donuts in the icing. Enjoy!

5.

Notes:

  • Top it off with some crushed cereal, granola, or Myprotein wafers for a bit of a crunch!
  • Lightly grease your donut tray/mold with oil or butter so the donuts slide right out after baking!
  • Seal tight and store in the fridge for up to a week and they will stay soft!
  • Numbers may slightly vary depending on the brand and ingredients you choose to use!
