If you're looking for a sweet treat to reward yourself after a big day at the gym, look no further than these Apple Cinnamon Blondie Bars by @strictlythriving. This nutritious take on a wholesome dessert will let you indulge without falling off-course. And who can say no to apple and cinnamon?

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 scoop Myprotein Green Apple Clear Whey (sub w/ other vegan/whey protein OR extra flour + 15g (~1 tbsp) sweetener)⁣
  • 1/2 tbsp granulated sweetener
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 5-6 drops Myprotein FlavDrops
  • 1 tbsp nut butter
  • 1/4 cup liquid egg whites OR one whole egg
  • 1/4 cup soy/Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp plant/dairy milk (optional)
  • 1 small apple
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

1.

Dice apple. Mix salt and water together. Place apple in salt water.

2.

Mix flour, protein powder, baking powder, cinnamon, and granulated sweetener together.

3.

Add in flav drops, egg whites/ egg, nut butter, and yogurt. Mix till fully combined. If too dry, gradually add in milk to loosen slightly.

4.

Drain saltwater and use paper towels to dry diced apple. Fold in diced apple into the batter. Pour into a baking pan.

5.

Bake for 18-22 minutes in a 350F/180C preheated oven. Allow to cool before slicing⁣.
