In need of a hardy snack for a cold winter's day? This vegan-friendly banana monkey bread by @strictlythriving is the perfect treat to warm you up. And with 30 grams of protein per batch, you'll be sure to get your macros in.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 scoop Myprotein Cinnamon Cereal Whey Forward (sub w/ other vegan/whey protein OR extra flour + 15g (~1 tbsp) sweetener)⁣
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp + extra soy/greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tbsp liquid sweetener of choice
  • 1/2 small banana, mashed
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp granulated sweetener

Instructions

1.

Mix flour, protein powder, and baking powder.

2.

Add in yogurt, banana, and liquid sweetener. Mix until forming dough.

3.

Mix cinnamon powder and granulated sugar/sweetener.

4.

Separate dough into 6-8 pieces. Roll dough in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place dough balls into baking dish.

5.

Add water/ extra syrup into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Drizzle above the dough balls.

6.

Microwave for 45 secs at 900W or bake for 12 minutes in a 350F/180C preheated oven.

7.

Add extra yogurt/syrup on top to serve.⁣
