What Is Capsimax?

Capsimax is concentrated natural capsicum extract from red hot chilli peppers. Made with patented essentially, capsimax provides the desired effective levels of capsaicinoids without the burn associated with hot peppers.

What Do Capsaicinoids Do?

The capsaicinoids that you want from peppers, which is purified in capsimax support your body’s energy production by helping to improve and maintain your healthy metabolism. Further to this, they encourage the mobilization of the fats that you ingest as part of your diet to promote improved lipolysis. Lipolysis is the process in which lipids are broken down and involves hydrolysis of triglycerides into glycerol and free fatty acids. Last, but not least, capsaicinoids also promote thermogenesis, which is the process of generating heat in the body.

Where Might You Find Capsimax?

Capsimax is classed as a natural, non-stimulant ingredient that, as an athlete, bodybuilder or health conscious soul, you will find in various health supplement designed to help with weight management and promoting a healthy metabolism, along with antioxidant supplements. Not to mention, it's an ingredient in our recently reformulated Mypre V2.

Why Take Capsimax When It Comes From Natural Products?

If you’ve ever eaten copious amounts and lived to tell the tale without considerable digestive discomfort and a burning mouth, fair play to you. For the rest of the human race, whose digestive tracts may find great quantities of red peppers too much to bear, capsicum can result in oral and gastric pain when it isn’t coated. When exposed to the skin and eyes it can also result in serious irritation, so your incredibly sensitive guts stand little chance.

It is the controlled release coating of capsimax that provides your system with all the goodness and none of the stress of unprotected red hot peppers. This specially designed coating allows capsimax to pass through your stomach, unaffected by stomach acid and is broken down in your lower intestine.

For anyone trying to shed a few or are conscious of weight management, it is often found as an ingredient in so-designed supplements and blends.

Where’s The Proof That It Works?

A clinical test on twenty subjects who sampled 100 mg of capsimax found that, following exercise, there was a significant increase in free fatty acids and glycerol in their blood post-ingestion. Researchers highlighted that this was proof of a positive breakdown of fat.

In another study, obese participants took capsimax as part of daily supplementation over eight weeks alongside a calorie-restricted diet and regular cardiovascular training. Those in the study that took capsimax as a part of their diet, compared to those who were given placebos, lost more weight, including body fat around the waist and hips in comparison to those who stuck to the same restricted diet and exercise plan. It was also discovered that of the 45 participants involved, those that took capsimax gained more lean body mass.

Better yet is the proof taken from a study involving 563 participants exploring the effect capsaicinoid compounds may have in relation to weight management. The results suggested that capsaicinoids can assist with your weight management by increasing your energy expenditure when your exercises, reducing your appetite and increased lipid oxidation.

It was observed that consumption of capsaicinoids increases energy expenditure by approximately 50 kcal/day, which would assist significant levels of weight loss in one to two years. Further to this, the study discovered that, when made a regular part of your diet, it can significantly reduce abdominal adipose tissue levels, as well as reducing your appetite and energy intake.
