And just because you’re sticking to a training regime over the winter months or monitoring your macros, doesn’t mean you have to miss out. Thanks to these incredible high-protein options, you can sip on an indulgent-tasting treat that reminds you of your childhood, while topping up your protein targets – now, that’s what we call the best of both words.We’ve teamed up with @kirstyfletcher to give you two delightful winter drinks. Whether you need something to warm you from within on a cold evening, or a chilled festive refreshment for post-workouts, we’ve got you covered.

1. Classic High-Protein Hot Chocolate
Makes 1Ingredients
* 500ml milk (Kirsty uses almond milk)* 25g Impact Whey Protein (White Chocolate)
* 10g cocoa powder * 1 tsp. sugarMethod
- First, add all of the ingredients to a blender and blitz until you get a smooth mixture.
- Now, pour the liquid into a pan and stir over a low/medium heat for 5-10 minutes. Be sure not to overheat or burn the mixture and make sure to stir to avoid lumps forming.
- Carefully pour the heated mixture into a mug, add any toppings of choice (these are completely optional), then enjoy!

2. Candy Cane White Chocolate Protein Shake
Makes 1Ingredients
* 200ml milk* 25g Impact Whey Protein (White Chocolate)
* 8g White Chocolate Protein Spread
* 1 candy cane * 30g reduced-fat whipped creamMethod
- Add the milk, protein powder, and Protein Spread into a blender and blitz until nice and smooth.
- Pour into a tall glass and then top with plenty of reduced-fat whipped cream and sprinkle with crushed up candy cane pieces!
- Serve immediately (the challenge is trying not to down it in one go, it’s so delicious).
