There are two things that strongmen like Luke and Tom Stoltman do without fail. First, they lift really heavy things. Second, they eat a lot of food. And when I say a lot, I mean a lot.

Between them, they usually get through 18 scoops of Impact Whey Protein every day. That’s 126 scoops per week, or 540 scoops per month.

In protein terms, that’s 378g of protein per day, 2,646g per week, or 11,340g per month. If you want to be a strongman, you’ve got to eat plenty of protein.

Breakfast

First up, breakfast. And the brothers don’t ease themselves in. Fresh out of bed, tummies rumbling, they eat 14 eggs between them.

6 eggs  8 eggs

Total calories: 1,150  Total Calories: 1,300

Snack one

As promised, the first installment of a lot of Impact Whey Protein.

Lunch

Luke went with traditional Scottish food for lunch, whereas Tom’s lunch was more gourmet.

Beef mince  Ground pork burger
Veg  Apple salad
Boiled potatoes  Potato wedges
Total calories: 1,274  Total Calories: 1,565

Snack two

The second installment of a lot of Impact Whey Protein.

Dinner

While Luke was sticking to his meal plan, Tom wasn’t. Generally, the brothers try to be strict about their meal plans during the week and let loose on the weekends.

But Tom knew the following day he had a big events session, so he went off his meal plan meal to get in the carbs and calories before a heavy session.

Chicken  Cheeseburger
Boiled potatoes  Chips

Total calories: 1,867  Total Calories: 1,630

Take Home Message

At the end of the day, the brothers had consumed a total of 10,694 calories — not bad for a day's work. If you want to be the best, you’ve got to eat like the best. The Stoltmans can give any strongman a run for their money when it comes to eating.
