Depends on Flavor
3I've ordered this twice. Once in Cookies and Cream, another time in chocolate smooth. The cookies and cream was bad, but the chocolate smooth is good. I would strongly recommend chocolate smooth over cookies and cream. It tastes and mixes much better. In general, the chocolate smooth mixes with water, but they both mix best with milk. The chocolate smooth mixes relatively well and tastes good. So I would recommend if you're looking for good value casein.Goes Well With:milk, oatmeal

5I don't know what the negative reviewers are expecting. It's casein. It's not going to taste like a sugary dessert. It's not going to taste as sweet or mix as well as whey. Use plenty of water. Use a blender bottle. Shake vigorously. For the price, it can't be beat. It tastes plenty good enough to get it down without issue. Just don't expect it to taste like a fast food milk shake and you'll be fine. You aren't here for a dessert, you are here for a supplement that works and is cost effective. This casein from MyProtein is what you want.Goes Well With:Lots of water.

Bad taste
3I had never bought casein before trying this product but this stuff is not very good to drink. The ingredients look good , being pure micellar casein but it's really thick and pasty/sticky. The cookies and cream flavor is off and needs lots of water to be drinkable.

4It's alright. I bought a large bag of chocolate smooth and strawberry cream during a sale a few weeks back. The chocolate doesn't taste as good as the "chocolate brownie" that comes in whey and isolate. Makes an incredibly thick shake. Prepare to double up your water/milk unless you like drinking concrete. Mixes fine with a blender bottle. Still unsure if I'll buy again - will likely just go with the regular whey due to price and taste. Does work well though. Goes Well With:(lots of) Soy milk/water.

Nasty taste
2This stuff tastes pretty horrible compared to the impact whey. It's very thick so you need a lot of liquid to mix making it a large shake. It does work as a good slow release casein so I'll give it that but I find it very hard to down one of these shakes some nights. Im just righting this now as I literally gagged multiple times trying to drink one(I got smooth chocolate)Goes Well With:Water. Milk is too thick. Maybe almond/soy milk

Worst protein I've ever bought
1Cookies and cream was impossible to drink. It didn't mix with water and it was so artificially sweet that is was totally unpalatable.

5I’ve only tried the chocolate smooth flavor and I enjoy it, it’s not extremely sweet. I use it at night and usually wake up feeling really hungry, I like to think because it’s been keeping my metabolism running while I sleep. If used during the day it keeps me feeling full for a few hours. Mixes well, but requires more liquid than an isolate and comes out really thick (which I enjoy). Slightly chalky, but not unpleasant in my opinion!Goes Well With:Water, milk, smoothies, coffee shake

Strawberry cream
5Mixes a little bit difficult and is foamy, but the strawberry flavor is nice, not too strong. Overall I like it. Just finished my 2.2 lbs and now thinking of getting cookies and cream.Goes Well With:Water

Mixes like cement, completely undrinkable
1This stuff mixes HORRIBLY. I've tried blending, shaking, stirring... using various amounts of water, skim milk, whole milk... it comes out like a firm, foamy cement mixture every time. It's completely (and I mean completely) undrinkable. I've ordered powdered sunflower lecithin to see if adding my own emulsifier will help, but if that doesn't work I will be out the money because MyProtein refused to refund me anything or send me a different product. The taste gets 2 stars. The strawberry has a very artificial taste, and both flavors I got taste a little bit like plastic.
