Chalky

Main reasons I didn't like this powder: - Every time I opened the container, a lot of aerosolized particles flew out - Very chalky and strong flavor. Ok when I added something strong like cinnamon. Not ok when mixed with fruit (blended)

Terrible Flavor But Works

I like the slow digesting aspect of this protein. I take it before bed and I do recover much better when taking it, however, I went with the chocolate flavor and it is pretty bad. Also it is a pain in the but to mix. Clumps like crazy but that is the way it is most casein.

This casein although it having decent protein content taste awful and doesn't mix. You have to basically have hot liquid to mix this stuff and even then you want to keep drinking after having that first sip. I regret buying the 5lb bag and might just throw out the rest of it because its that awful. I have had other MYPROTEIN products before but this one is a big miss and needs to be re-evaluated by the company.

Quality product at a great price. I've been exclusively buying from Myprotein for a few years now. Previously used ON and others. I'm convinced Myprotein is the best. Shipping isn't quite as fast as Amazon prime, but it's a great trade off to get something superior to the stuff sold on that site.

This casein powder mixes terribly it comes out thick like cement and and has a terrible taste that makes me gag every time I take a sip. I’m really upset. I wasted my money on this.

Grit and Foam

Love Myprotein, but I cannot recommend their casein. Does not mix smoothly, and foams up. I will stick to the Whey Iso, and get my casein elsewhere.

Least expensive slow-digesting protein on the market!

To reap the benefits of protein, pre, intra, or post workout, you must consume both fast and slow digesting proteins. Casein is in the slow category, which is perfect for adding to your isolate as a pre and post shake. It's also the last thing I consume before bed, so that my body slowly absorbs protein as I sleep. It's easy to mix, doesn't give me gas like some other brands did, and is easy on the wallet. One tip for those who mix their casein with isolate: try buying the non-flavored casein to mix with a flavored isolate, or vise-versa. This way, you'll avoid extra caloric and sugar intake. I know that they use sugar substitutes, but studies show that your body can't tell the difference.

This casein is great tasting, mixes well, and can't be beat for the price IMO. I typically drink or use it at night. I have been using it a lot lately to make pudding and mix my PB2 with because it makes a nice, thick consistency closer to peanut butter than when I use whey. I haven't tried the other flavors yet but chocolate tastes great! Give it a try.
Goes Well With:
Almond milk and PB2
