Labdoor is a US-based company which buys products in the same way as our customers do - directly from stores or websites - then analyzes them in the lab to find out if the information on the product label is true. How Do Labdoor Analyze Products?

Purchasing the products: Labdoor does not allow manufacturers to send samples to be analyzed - they buy supplements directly as a normal consumer would, through shops and internet sites.

Preparing samples for analysis: Labdoor record the product data such as batch number and expiration date, product labels are photographed and samples are sent to laboratories registered with the FDA to be analyzed.

Chemical analysis: the samples are analyzed for possible contamination and to measure the actual content of ingredients.

 

Results calculation: The results of the analysis, together with the values reported on the various product labels, are placed in the Labdoor database and calculated automatically.Conversion to rankings: Based on these results, the Labdoor algorithm evaluates products according to label accuracy, purity of the product, nutritional value, safety and efficacy of the ingredients and benefits.Conversion to rating: the result is converted to a rating between the letters A and F, along with two charts, "Best Quality" and "Best Value".Report: Labdoor the scientists write a report based on the results obtained from the tests, following a specialized team places this information on the web, in order to make them accessible to all.
