In honor of Fall being the unofficial cinnamon season, we have another cinnamon recipe coming your way. These cinnamon roll protein pancakes by @strictlythriving will be sure to get you out of bed in the morning. And with Myprotein's Cinnamon Cereal Whey Forward protein powder, you can get your macros without sacrificing any of the taste.

Cinnamon Roll Protein Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oats/oat flour
  • 1/2 scoop Myprotein Cinnamon Cereal Whey Forward
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese (sub with soy/greek yogurt)
  • 1/4 cup egg whites (or 1 egg)
  • 1 tablespoon plant/dairy milk (optional; if batter is too thick)
  • desired amount of toppings of choice (added chocolate syrup, maple syrup, and yogurt)
  • desired amount of oil

Instructions

1.

Pour the oats, protein powder, cottage cheese, egg/egg whites, baking powder, and cinnamon powder into a blender. Blend till smooth; if too thick, add in milk till you reach desired consistency.

2.

Allow batter to rest for 5-10 minutes. Heat up an oiled pan at medium heat.

3.

Once pan is hot, pour batter to make pancakes.

4.

Cook on each side for 1-2 minutes.

5.

Repeat until all batter is used up.

6.

Stack pancakes and add toppings to serve.
