With summer approaching and the heat turning up, there's nothing like a nice cold drink to satisfy your thirst. You can still enjoy a refreshing drink without the alcohol though – here are some refreshing mocktail ideas that are waistline-friendly and easy to make at home.

1. Berry BCAA Slushy

Nothing says the summertime is here like a fresh, ice-cold slushy! This mocktail is especially tasty and nutritious due to its high content of berries, packed with vitamins and antioxidants. The banana will also provide some energy and electrolytes such as calcium, magnesium and phosphorus. Don't forget the BCAAs - a protein-packed punch that you'll love!

100g frozen banana slices

50g frozen pitted cherries

150g frozen strawberries

500ml sparkling/soda water

2 scoops Raspberry Lemonade BCAA

Pour half the fizzy water into a blender and mix with the rest of the ingredients on a high speed until it is smooth, pour into two glasses. Pour the rest of the left-over fizzy water into the glasses and serve. Enjoy.

2. Tropical Glutamine Boost

This mocktail adds a tropical vibe to your summer post-workout punch. The addition of glutamine provides an amino boost – the perfect post-workout drink, helping you recover and rehydrate.

2  scoops Peach Mango Glutamine

2 peaches cubed and peeled (approx 140g)

500ml fizzy water

100g frozen pineapple chunks

3 limes (juiced)

100g frozen peach

10g stevia

Fresh mint

Pour all the ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth. Pour the mixture into two glasses, add ice cubes and serve with some fresh mint placed on top.

3. Watermelon BCCA Slushy

This watermelon slushy is super refreshing and packs a powerful nutritious punch. Watermelon has great levels of vitamin A, B6 and C. It's also a great source of lycopene, also present in tomatoes and well-known for its antioxidant powers. Watermelon is a great fruit for hydration due to its high water content and abundance of electrolytes.

2 scoops Watermelon BCAA

150g frozen watermelon cubes

500ml coconut water

Squeeze of lime juice

Mix together all the ingredients in a blender. Serve in two glasses and enjoy!

4. Pre-Workout Orange Mocktail

Packed with vitamin C and an energy boost, this mocktail makes the perfect pre-workout punch – packed with ingredients that will help you go that extra mile like creatine, caffeine, amino acids, vitamins and minerals.

3 oranges in segments (approx 350g)

300ml sparkling water

? 1 scoop Mypre Orange

Squeeze lemon

Ice cubes

Mix together all the ingredients in a blender until smooth, serve with ice cubes and enjoy!

5. Beetroot & Berry Slushy


Although beetroot powder may sound like an odd combination with berries, this powder gives the smoothie an extra-vivid colour while adding in extra nutrients.

150g frozen berries

10g Organic Beetroot Powder

500ml sparkling water

Blend together half of the fizzy water and the other ingredients. Pour the mixture into a glass and then add the rest of the water. Serve with a slice of lime and enjoy!

500ml fizzy water
