Great protein!
5I've been comsuming the myprotein pea protein for several months now and cannot reccomend it enough. Great of you're lactose intolerant. Both chocolate and vanilla flavors taste good, albeit not as good as their whey protein counterparts, but very palatable. Protein content is excellent for a vegan protein and it doesn't have a chalky texture like some other vegan proteins.Goes Well With:Water, Soy Milk.

It's just not good
2I bought this because I wanted something that was unsweetened. I tried to like it, I really did. I bought a 5 pound bag and I've attempted 7 or 8 shakes with it. I don't think I can give it away. It tastes sort of earthy, but not disgusting, but it cannot be masked. Even if you add flavor syrups or other flavored protein powders, all you can taste is pea protein. Ultimately, it's not a taste I cannot force myself to drink. The texture is THICC. It does okay mixed with water, but I mixed mine with almond milk, and it was undrinkable. Get ready to chew, basically. It's not chalky, but it can stay lumpy even after vigorous shaking. Overall I don't recommend this product, it's disappointing and will sit in your cabinet until it's a last resort. Goes Well With:Water. That's it.

Very Good Protein
5I usually just get the Impact Whey Protein but I decided to switch it up to see if it helps with some of my issues due to lactose intolerance. First off, it mixes very well in the blender or in a shaker, so I'm not sure what some of these reviews are talking about... Maybe they're trying to stir it like chocolate milk? Secondly, the flavor isn't as good as the Impact Whey, but it's better than I expected/prejudged based on the name "Pea Protein." Lastly, it's much lighter on my stomach than the Impact Whey and I feel like my morning smoothie doesn't "whey" me down like it did before. See what I did there? I'll likely be using this moving forward as it does seem to alleviate the issues I was having before.Goes Well With:Almond milk, smoothies

Good, not great
4A lot of reviews here will tell you how bad the taste is but honestly If you just blend it with veggies or fruits in a smoothie you can’t taste the “earthy” taste. I really like this protein, have bought it twice now. Goes Well With:Fruit and vegetable smoothies

Pretty good!
4The unflavored pea protein definitely has an odd texture and taste, but it doesn't upset my stomach like whey tends to do. I think it's a good trade off. Goes Well With:Probably best blended with frozen fruit and orange juice, IMO.

Too thick :((
1I tried the vegan blend before and it was very good and mixed very well. I assumed the Pea Isolate would be similar but when I got it, it wouldn't mix using a shaker. And when I used a blender to mix, it got soooo thick!! It's so difficult to consume, the texture is terribly thick and I threw up drinking it the other day.

Good product
5Good particularly if you are trying to get protein from plants. Mixes well giving smooth consistency. Tastes sightly weird though.

Pea Protein Review
2The mixture of this protein has a very thick and chalky substance that is often hard to mix with other liquid ingredients.

better than expected
5reading all the negative reviews had me really dreading the way this stuff would taste. after trying it i can honestly say everyone calling it “inedible” or whatever else was absolutely overreacting. it tastes like any unflavored protein isolate, nothing more nothing less. i think people were expecting something yummy like the ones that come loaded with sweeteners and artificial flavors. it also has a pretty good amount of protein per calorie, which is helpful for those trying to reach a calorie deficit and gain muscle. overall i am pleased with this product (which is good, since i have 11lbs of it)
