Best Price-Value Vegan Protein

Taste/Mixability: Good, especially compared to other protein powders. Dissolves really well. Tastes like unsweetened chocolate powder. Nutrition: Would love to see a small bump to 25-30g protein per scoop or the addition of probiotics. Willing to pay more to compensate. Much easier to have probiotics and/or a bit more protein in one product rather than having to buy a separate product, potentially from elsewhere. Price-Value: Researched several brands and did comparisons. MYPROTEIN is comparable to more expensive brands that are more than double the price.

Great protein!

I got the unflavored protein as I find I quickly get sick of flavored proteins now (after years of taking flavored proteins, I think I've gotten to the point where I'm sick of all the artificially tasting flavors). This is a fantastic protein, I'd highly recommend making smoothies with this protein, the unflavored variant is definitely not meant to be simply mixed with water/milk like most other proteins, this would taste pretty gross. The unflavored protein is likely intended to be used to enhance the protein content of a smoothie or other mixed drink. I have no complaints about this protein, the protein texture is more obvious given it's unflavored nature, but I'm completely fine with this as long as it's mixed well.
Goes Well With:
I usually make smoothies with almond milk, a banana, strawberries/blueberries, and a scoop of peanut butter.

Complete and Cheap Protein with no additives

I've been using the unflavored pea protein for a while now. Other than Soy, which I refuse to get, this is the cheapest way to get very concentrated protein powder regardless of the source. The taste, to the average person, is terrible. However, if you mix with some cocoa powder and get over it, it's really not a big deal. The only gripe I have with this is that there is a static charge on the powder which means whenever you take it in and out of the bag, pieces of protein powder keep flying off the scoop which makes a mess. I live in Florida with very high humidity so I could only imagine it's worse in drier climates. Overall, I am always pleased with my protein powder.

Chocolate Stevia

Bought it because of the great price and the convenient sized bags of product. I bought the 5.5lb to give it a try after I ran out of my Premeir Protein 3lb tub. You literally get what you want and not the 75% of added fillers like every single other brand. I've never had pea protein until now. It's definitely an interesting taste and flavor. NOT overly sweet what so ever. I'd say its not sweet at all. But for me that is good. I don't need the sweetness, I just need the protein and calories as a quick couple of snacks during the day. A tip I would add in would be to not premix it though the night before for the morning. Just like any other protein it settles and clumps up at the bottom of the shaker and cannot lift up unless you drink some then add more liquid to reshape it. THE SCOOP is about 9 grams over the serving size of 30 grams. So you will want to use the scoop to measure out the weight and not just go by scoop itself. I have a scale so again thats not really a big deal to me. Overall a great deal and a recommended purchase.

Aside from the taste (I got unflavored, this is expected), the pea protein isolate is great! I will purchase more when I am in need of protein. The package also arrived in a timely manner as well. I have had ZERO issues with MYPROTEIN. I am happy I was referred to this company years ago. Keep up the great work!
Goes Well With:
Flavored protein powders (I sometimes mix it with other powders when I'm in the mood for a flavorful drink) I strongly suggest to put this powder in fruit smoothies.

Its effective, but the unflavoured doesnt taste very good. In its defence, that saves you from eating a ton of sugar and is more iso as a result. Doesnt mix particularly well, but its pea not whey so that's excusable. There is one exception - if you mix it with yogurt, it tastes like Hummus and you'll like it.
Goes Well With:
Yogurt. Water and milk dont work, but yogurt makes it into a nice hummus like substance.

Great Value, Solid Taste

My first order from MyProtein was the chocolate flavored pea protein. I was impressed by the mixability and the overall texture. The stevia flavor is a bit overpowering, but can be tempered down by adding a tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder to whatever it is that you're making (in my case, oats) to up the richness of the chocolate and to balance out the sweetness of stevia. Because I was so satisfied with the texture, I ordered the unflavored and the vanilla. The vanilla is definitely the worst of the bunch -- it is overwhelmingly stevia-heavy, and has a very synthetic taste. I very rarely eat a full scoop; I usually end up mixing half of a scoop of it with half a scoop of the unflavored. The unflavored is not very tasty by itself, but easily mixes with either chocolate or vanilla, and I have found CAN be made into tasty savory dishes, like a tofu spread or vegan cheese dip if spiced correctly, with enough nutritional yeast, garlic, and other spices. All in all, I will certainly continue to buy both the chocolate and the unflavored powders.

I wanted unsweetened protein powder that was reasonable priced. That's what I got. It's chalkier than whey powder but cheaper. I don't mind the taste. I can't stand most of the protein mixes with a million ingredients and sweeteners.

Chocolate=Pretty Good, Unflavored=Not terrible

The chocolate isn't bad and works well in shakes. I add a little extra cocoa powder to lessen the sweetness of it. The unflavored adds a pretty strong "off" taste to whatever you add it to. It's not terrible and can be covered with other spices and whatnot, but is very noticeable. *Be sure to add extra liquid cuz the xanthan gum in these make it thicken up a lot.
Goes Well With:
Shakes (both), hummus (unflavored), brownies/pudding (chocolate)
