Great Pump, Poor Taste
5I usually take 6-8g of Citrulline Malate PWO and it gives me a huge pump. It tastes extremely sour and almost bitter. I suggest adding a small squirt of MIO or water flavouring to get it down easier.Goes Well With:Creatine Monohydrate, Taurine, Caffeine

Best bang for buck
4I've tried this from my friend only once or twice, but it pretty much dissolves instantly in water. Unflavored, so you don't really taste it. It allows me to have shorter rests in between each set, which is awesome cause I get to push my muscles closer to their limits. This is also the cheapest you can it Citrulline Malate anywhere, as far as I can see.Goes Well With:water

It works
5What a workout without a great pump I add it to my preworkout. By itself it masked the taste well. It’s just sour makes you pucker by itself alone. And good amount for money. Will buy againGoes Well With:Preworkout

Good
5I mix 9-10g an hour prior with d-aspartic acid+green tea extract. I don't consume it for taste as the mix does not tastes the best, but I mix it with 50ml of water and drink it as a shot. this dose of citrulline gives a great pump and vascularity.

Works great, tastes horrid
4Mixes well, works well to give a pump, increases the sets and reps you can do, helps recovery, etc., but it tastes absolutely awful. This has to be the worst tasting workout supplement in existence. I mix 9g-10g (read up on proper L-Citrulline Malate dosing-- MyProtein's suggested dose is way too low) of it with 2 scoops of Chocolate Smooth Whey Isolate (Iso:Pro) 45 min. before a workout and it's not enough to mask the taste, though it does make it tolerable to swallow, for the most part. Despite the fact that I use Whey Isolate to dilute the taste of the L-Citrulline, after 3-4 weeks of doing this, my mind is starting to reject it-- I can feel myself wanting to puke when I drink it and obviously it's getting harder and harder to drink it. I didn't have these issues at first, though. For now, I would argue the effects of L-Citrulline Malate are worth it and somewhat reluctantly reordered some. Goes Well With:Anything supplement that doesn't taste overly strong/bad, or anything that can be used to mask the taste of this supplement (protein).

Effective Vasodilator
5I purchased the unflavored to limit the other ingredients. It mixes well but tastes really sour and gives me heartburn. The closer I take to working out the greater the heartburn. I found that taking more than an hour before working out helps prevent heartburn.Goes Well With:most sport drinks and BCCA'a
