Valentines Protein Chocolate Hearts[/su_heading]

Strawberry Creams are my all-time favourite chocolates - so I decided to give protein chocolate hearts a try for Valentines day!

The strawberry dessert was the driving force with it's delicious fruity flavour and thick smooth texture. I can honestly say these definitely satisfy your taste buds when you need that sweet fix or you can even create them as a perfect gift for a fellow protein lover!

Method

These chocolates may look difficult but they are so simple, all you need is silicone moulds (muffin cases, ice cube tray, or shaped moulds.)

1) Rub a small amount of oil into the base of your chosen tray/mould/case to stop the chocolate from sticking.

2) Melt 100g of chocolate and pour into the base whilst moving the tray around so the chocolate covers the bottom half of the mould.

3) Leave to one side to set (not in the fridge).

4) Mix the protein dessert until thick add the milk a little at a time so that you can make sure the mixture is stiff

5) Spoon the dessert into a plastic food bag and snip off a small corner then squeeze into the middle of the chocolate once it has set.

6) Melt the remaining 100g of chocolate and pour over the dessert

7) Using a cocktail stick - poke around the sides to get rid of any air bubbles

8) Leave for 2-3 hours to set in a cool dry place (not the fridge)
