What Are Fajitas?
Fajitas are a Tex-Mex classic. Served in a corn or tortilla wrap, they can include all kinds of fillings, but most of the time you’ll find meat, peppers, and onions all fried in delicious spices.
Can You Meal Prep Air Fryer Chicken Fajitas?
You can. Cook up a batch one evening, then, once it’s cooled, store it in the fridge in airtight containers for up to three days.
How to Reheat Air Fryer Fajitas
Reheating couldn’t be easier. Simply place the filling in the microwave or an air fryer until it’s hot all the way through.
Make Them Vegan
Although fajitas are traditionally filled with some form of meat, you can make them meatless. Swap the chicken for tofu, mushrooms, or beans, and use a dairy-free yogurt for the sauce.
Variations and Add-Ins
Mix up the veg: Peppers and onions are the traditional vegetable fillings, but you could try baby corn, mangetout, mushrooms, or broccoli. Anything you’ve got in the fridge.
Add cheese: Grate cheddar or crumble feta on top for some tang.
Switch the protein: Beef and pork work great as alternatives.
