4Wouldn't have known it wasn't whey isolate if I wasn't told. Easy to mix. Not too sweet. Could be a bit more...chocolate richness tasting. Mixed with 8oz water per instructions; will try again with less water next as I prefer my shakes thicker Goes Well With:Water. I assume it would go even better with milk.

5This protein tastes great! I got the salted caramel. It mixes just as well as usual whey and tastes just as good, much better than any vegan proteins I’ve tried. I mixed it in my greek yogurt for breakfast, so good!Goes Well With:Greek Yogurt, oatmeal

Whey better for the environment
5I'm not really a shake person, so I used the Creamy Mint Chocolate Chip flavor and made a vegan ice cream. The flavor really did have a creamy vibe which impressed me, and I thought the sweetness level was perfect. My only complaints are that the chocolate flavor is lacking and the cookie pieces are too tiny to add much in the way of texture, so I ended up adding more cocoa powder and some vegan chocolate chips. Overall I thought it was miles better than the plant-based protein powders I've tried, and I'm really hoping to see an unflavored "whey/casein" type blend made in this way for upping the protein content in savory baked goods.Goes Well With:Cashew milk ice cream

Creamy but not as decadent as name suggests
4I liked it - I mixed the chocolate brownie flavor with plain almond milk. It mixed really well and tasted good and creamy but I wouldn't go all the way to including "brownie" in the flavor name since that implies a stronger flavor to me and it wasn't quite to that level. I'd buy more of it but I'd lower my flavor expectations. Goes Well With:almond milk

Mixes Great But Taste is Off
3I tried this mixed with both water and soy milk. When I had it with water, it mixed very easily and didn't clump. I only had to stir it around for a few seconds. Unfortunately, it tasted quite a bit like plastic. I tried it with soy milk and that took a little longer to mix. It ended up being a little creamier, which is fine. The plastic taste was still there. I'm not sure if it was the sucralose, since I've had other protein powders with the same sweetener, but unfortunately, the taste just isn't for me.

4Good taste and mixing. Tried all 3 flavors and mint is by far my favorite. Pretty sweet and thinner than other powders

5Tried all 3 flavors and loved all but if you must try only one I would suggest starting with the caramel

Non-Animal Whey Protein - Wicked Smooth
4Non-Animal Whey Protein is the first ingredient in all three flavors of the new Whey Forward. The Creamy Mint Chocolate Chip flavor sample mixed quickly and easily into water and had a rich texture nearly consistent with animal whey protein. Mint is the main flavor and sharply cuts above the smooth chocolate base. I have never had non-animal whey protein before and this is something I would surely drink as an alternative if the need arose. Goes Well With:This came out wicked smooth mixed with water. I imagine it would be thicker and more viscous with a milk alternative.
