You HAVE to try these hot chocolate bombs.

We've teamed up with Fitwaffle to bring you 12 of the tastiest festive treats around.

These hot chocolate bombs are the Christmas treat that we’ve all been waiting for. Made with 3 simple ingredients, they turn into something seriously special when hot milk is poured over them. Think a rich, oozing, melted chocolate sensation — that packs a nice little protein punch too.

Makes 3

Ingredients

  • 100 g chocolate (melted)
  • 3 tbsp. Protein Hot Chocolate
  • 3 tsp. mini marshmallows
  • To serve: 200ml hot milk (per bomb)

Instructions

1.

Brush your mould with the melted chocolate, making sure to coat as evenly as possible with no gaps, right up to the rim. Put in the freezer for 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.

2.

One by one, carefully remove each of the chocolate bomb halves from the mould. Press the rim of one half against a hot pan for a few seconds to slightly melt, then add a tablespoon of Protein Hot Chocolate powder and a handful of mini marshmallows to the centre.

3.

Melt the rim of the other half of the chocolate bomb by pressing against the hot pan again, then carefully press both halves of the chocolate bomb together. Once the chocolate cools, it should fuse together, giving you a complete sphere with the Protein Hot Chocolate inside.

4.

Keep your hot chocolate bombs in the fridge until ready to use, or serve immediately by placing in a mug and pouring hot milk over the top to melt. Stir continuously until you get one seriously smooth & rich hot chocolate.
