Liked the original better
I bought the original womens velocity leggings about a year ago- the original had zip pockets and a long reflective strip that ran down your leg for saftey as well as a drawstring on the inside that really held up the leggings. These new ones got rid of the large reflective strip and the drawstring as well as the zippers on the pockets. To me this seems like a downgrade from the old design and the only reason I bought these were because I wanted a backup for when my old ones bust so I gotta say I'm a bit disappointed. The only nice things about these are that the material is the same and its still nice and high waisted. The pockets are still super deep, though not as secure without the zip. I do enjoy the vents at the back of the knee and the zip at the ankle does seem useful for when you're struggling to get out after a hard run. These do seem to run a little shorter than the old ones as well.
