Phenomenal product, but the bag will not seal
I purchased the chocolate milkshake flavor. This is one of the best tasting Casein Proteins that I have tried. It also mixes extremely well. The only downside to this is that the bag that it comes in will not seal. The two points of contact will not fasten together, so I am afraid that this will oxidize quickly. Great Casein, No Unflavored for US Market
I loved their casein protein mix, but in the last year or so, they only offer vanilla or chocolate to the US market, while if you check their UK site, unflavored is available. I prefer my casein without flavorings and additives, so unfortunately I have to get my casein elsewhere, but if they can re-release the unflavored version, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

False Advertisement
This product IS NOT accredited by the Cologne List or any other third-party. When I reached out to MyProtein I received the response below. Basically, it’s not accredited but any accreditation is voluntary anyway. Been using myprotein for over a decade but this is misinformation and false advertisement at it’s finest. Goodbye, myprotein, I will try to report you to as many outlets a I can. “ Your original message was: Cologne List does not show MyProtein as accredited. MyProtein does not show on their list at all. I would like a refund due to false advertising by MyProtein. Your new message from our Customer Care Team: Hello , Thank you for getting in touch. I sincerely apologize for any confusion caused. Great before bed
I love taking this with a glass of milk. You have to drink it quickly after mixing or else it will start to precipitate, but if that happens you just mix again and drink. The flavor is great, doesn't really taste like a protein powder. I just ordered another 5.5 lb bag. Goes Well With: milk

Good, Inexpensive Protein
I bought this because it was on sale for much cheaper than most pure casein products. I found the flavor not as strong as R1's vanilla casein, but it still tastes good enough that I would enjoy eating it straight from the bag, so it works! I only use it in blended recipes, but I haven't found any issues with mixing it. Definitely thicker and more flavorful than vanilla whey. Goes Well With: Protein ice cream/whip, shakes, smoothies, baked goods, yogurt/cottage cheese

Excellent muscle repair + growth overnight
MyProtein's Slow-Release Impact Casein has proven to be an excellent supplement for muscle repair and growth overnight for me. Bodybuilding legend, Mike Mentzer, was always quick to point out that muscle growth doesn't take place in the gym -- that's the stimulus for muscle growth. Muscle growth takes place during rest and MyProtein's Slow-Release Impact Casein provides the necessary protein and amino acids at the most critical time -- during sleep. I found it to be very effective for me and the flavour (Vanilla Ice Cream) is not overpowering and pleasant enough to be taken 30 minutes before bed. Goes Well With: I use MyProtein's Slow-Release Impact Casein with the IBCAA 2:1:1 which I use during each workout session.

My brother bought the same item and was frustrated by the mess it made when he opened the bag, which made him grouchy about the item in general… so I was worried I’d not like it as much as other Myprotein products, but, I’m so grateful for the ease of mixing (with the Myprotein cup) and the flavor with water (no tedious blender multi-ingredient smoothies), that protein has become way easier and more enjoyable. I love it. It’s my pretty typical nighttime drink.
