The BEST casein I've ever used
5This is by far the best casein protein powder that I have ever had. It mixes great and is not clumpy, and the taste is awesome (I got vanilla flavor). I also had no issues with digestion or GI discomfort. Great quality at an unbeatable price. Highly recommend!!

Casein
5Best Casein protein I have used. I would take it before and found it was easy to digest and tasted great. Natural Strawberry is my favorite.

Gross
1I've had several whey protein powders from MP and they've all been pretty good. I assumed the casein would be good as well, but I was totally taken aback by how gross it is! I purchased the vanilla flavor and it totally lacks in flavor. The texture is not appetizing and even after shaking it vigorously there are still clumps. It also foams up so much that even when I put more water into the shaker bottle to drink the residue there is still foam. I dread it every night when I have to chug this chalky mess down. Which brings me to another point, the powder itself is "sticky". I have to dump the powder from the scoop to my bottle over a sink otherwise there is white stuff EVERYWHERE! I took this to the airport with me (bought it right before I was traveling) and I had to double wrap it to prevent the powder getting in my luggage too, the seal doesn't close well at all. At this point I'm trying to get through it as fast as I can just so I don't waste my money. I'll stick with the whey from now on :(Goes Well With:Your guess is as good as mine.

5I love the Natural Chocolate, but it has been OOS for months. Neither the Vanilla nor the Unflavored are available any longer in the 5 or 11 pound bags. It appears that the Micellar Casein is going bye-bye. Hope not though!

Great product
5The only complaint I have is the flavors. I love a good casien shake before bed and vanilla (currently all that's out) is a great option but I would like the possibility of switching things up when I feel the need to. Otherwise, great taste, mixability and all around product! Also price is great as usually! Keep it up MyProtein for all us broke college students out there trying to get enough protein in!Goes Well With:Cashew milk

Awful Casein
1I love the regular protein and wanted to try the casein from Myprotein and what a disappointment. I still don't understand why they only offer vanilla or unflavored. the texture is extremely annoying to mix, the taste is very bland.Goes Well With:the trash

Effective, just not my preference
3I was hoping this would be the standard Casein that I've experienced in the past from major retailers. However the protein powder is quite fine, resulting in a very thin mix. It's good for what it is, and if you don't have a preference for Casein, you'll get a good deal on some good protein.

Perfect!
5I needed a better before bed protein source - This did it! Great vanilla taste and I don't usually do vanilla, but It was my only choice at the time. However, you must use more liquid with this powder or it will be thicker than most protein powders.Goes Well With:Milk

Not Impressed
3I've been happy with the Chocolate Smooth whey protein from MyProtein so I decided to give their Micellar Casein a try instead of the brand I'd been using. I chose the Natural Strawberry flavor which frankly just isn't very good. It has a very artificial taste (think strawberry Nestle Quik but worse). It is tolerable in milk however, so as off-putting as the taste is my primary complaint is the consistency. Unlike all other Micellar Casein brands I've tried this one is very powdery like powdered sugar. Other brands have all been more granular like cocoa powder. The end result is that it tends to make a mess as dumping a scoop into your cup sends it flying everywhere. In addition, this stuff is ridiculously foamy which came as a surprise since no other brand I've used has been foamy at all. The bottom line is that I won't be purchasing the Micellar Casein again.
