Bovine collagen is sourced from beef cattle and it’s a naturally occurring protein found in cartilage, joints, and bones. It’s rich in type I and III collagen — known to promote healthy hair, skin, nails, and more. Plus, the beef cattle we use are both grass-fed and pasture raised.

Keto diets use your body’s fat stores for energy, by using a lactose-free protein powder you make sure you remain in a ketogenic state — perfect for toning up and lowering your body fat percentage.

Our blend is made with highly purified collagen peptides to give you a tasty shake with very high protein content — helping you to meet your daily intake without taking on unnecessary fats and carbs.

1. Protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass.

Pretty good

I've been struggling to replace whey protein with another supplement since I was diagnosed with lactose intolerance. Vegan blends are too caloric for the amount of protein and the taste isn't so great, so I decided to give the collagen protein a whirl. The taste is good, but I recommend mixing in coffee or hot oats. It mixed ok in my lactose free milk, but was still a little clumpy. Much better in coffee. Might even try the unflavored collagen to put into soups and sauces for a protein boost. Overall, I'm pleased.

Exposes consumer to chemicals. Smells awful.

There are several critical problems on this product. Without proper explanation I don’t recommend it to anyone. 1. Why there is a label on the package says P65 warning? Does this contain lead or arsenic chemical? 2. Why does it smell bad? Actually it smells kinda like rotten fish despite it claims to be made from “kettle” 3. Why 2.2lb package is more expensive than 0.55lb!!!

My favorite protein

I have been drinking the chocolate flavor for about two months now, and it is by far my favorite protein I have ever tried! I drink it with vanilla unsweetened almond milk and this makes my protein shake taste as close to chocolate milk as I think a protein shake can taste. Some advice is to use a shaker or a blender to help the protein combine with the liquid better. I tried stirring it in once and it did not blend as well. Overall a great protein, I definitely recommend!

Rotten tasting and smelling. Moist inside packaging.

I've tried several collagen products and this was the worst one BY FAR! It tastes and smells rotten — nothing like other collagen products I've had in the past. Tried it a coupe times and it made me feel sick for hours afterwards. I've contacted the company and they are making every excuse possible not to acknowledge they are selling a bad collagen product. I would recommend you skip buying this. Any positive reviews are likely to be FAKE. BE CAREFUL!

After the chocolate after taste stink and bitter taste...

After the chocolate flavour is go e, there is an after taste stink and bitter taste, this latter being likely from the artificial sweeteners used. As for the after stench of bovine carcass, this is clearly because this company’s collagen stinks of rotting carcass. Nothing can truly mask that smell. Furthermore, the smell is strong indication that something is very wrong with the bovine used. Could not be consumed in anyway in any case as it gave us stonach ache on two trials. Company refused to puck up item and refund claiming all number of excuses. Will not be buying from this company.
Goes Well With:
Not good with coffee as the very specious reviewer here stated! It will ruin your usually gorgeous, wonderful smelling aromatic colombian grains  espresso with rotting smell!

Does not mix and smells bad

This collagen is not what hydrolyzed collagen should be like. The powder is kinda puffy-fluffy vs grainy, it smells slightly of barn yard or bone broth, and it does not dissolve well - just kinda lumps up. I tried putting it in my coffee - big mistake, even when I managed to blend it, the smell and the taste (kinda bitter) essentially rendered it not drinkable.

Tastes great

I originally bought the unflavored and it was a bit of a sticky mess. It still mixed in with my coffee quite nicely with little taste. I was okay with that product. But then I saw the chocolate flavor... I now enjoy a cup of mocha joe each morning. I typically put 1/2 scoop per mug of coffee and yes, I drink at least two mugs per day. Thank you for the flavored version :)

Powder smells bad, but it's from beef,so...

Like UNflav bcaa's & egg protein, etc, the powders themselves smell awful, just to forewarn anyone expecting a pleasant smell fr UNflav protein-related powders. NO this doesn't put me off fr using this powder, or any others. B/c once you know how to NATURALLY flavor ur own shakes, u can't smell the powders. I've gotten use to smelly UNflav powders the past 10yrs. It has NOTHING to do w/ quality or it being non-organic. Even the organic ones stink! It doesn't mean that it's contaminated. It's just ppl are so use to the SUGARED versions of powders, they dont expect UNflav to smell unpleasant. Also, ppl don't realize where these powders have to be synthesized from, the sources. Nhow, like ALL my UNflav powders- casein, soy, egg - all them em' mix well in my Nutribullet. I would never manually shake the heck out of my cup, you're not going to the best result or taste.

Well, the taste is a personal preference. But i mix mine mostly w/ a wee' bit of mixed nuts, frozen fruits, flax powder, oats, vegan powder & decaf/caff instant coffee. I use xylitol sugar or my maple stevia for added sweetness. NOTE: I mix all my unflav powders together, then add my other food items for flavor & texture. How to make the perfect shake(s), is trial n' error, just like w/ any new cooking recipes. Good Luck!

Value for Money

mixes well. It is unflavored but not to the point you can just added to water. But with coffee or in addition to your protein shake works well and is half of alternatives.

Collagen Protein

Mixes very well and practically tasteless. The bags are extremely annoying, puffing powder everywhere, and getting a good amount on your hand and counter when trying to scoop. It also doesn't smell that great. I use it to make bullet proof coffee. Not as dreamy of the process and drink as let on.
Goes Well With:
Coffee for sure. And I'd image just about any other liquid as it mixes well.
