Myprotein has partnered with Flex to allow you to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). This means you can now use your HSA or FSA debit card to buy nutrition stacks, high purity creatine, and 3rd party tested protein, & more with pre-tax dollars, resulting in net savings of 30-40%, depending on your tax bracket.
Since these funds are pre-tax, you will save up to 30-40%!
No, but some products require documentation from a licensed healthcare provider stating that the item is necessary to treat or manage a specific medical condition. This documentation is called a Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN). If a product requires a LOMN, Flex facilitates a chat-based consultation that generates the letter in real time.
A letter is essentially a note from a doctor stating that you are purchasing an item to treat or manage a medical condition. More details can be found below.
While Flex offers a telehealth consultation within the checkout process for a frictionless experience, you may request a LOMN from your health care provider instead and submit your purchase for reimbursement with your FSA/ HSA administrator.
HSA/FSA cards are debit cards, and the most common reason for declines is insufficient funds. Please reach out to your HSA/FSA administrator to confirm your balance.
We strongly recommend checking with your HSA/FSA provider to confirm if the items you are purchasing are eligible prior to completing your purchase. However, if you believe your claim has been wrongly denied, please send over any response from your HSA/FSA provider to support@withflex.com and they will provide more information. Please note that employer-sponsored FSAs can determine what products are eligible beyond the IRS’s guidelines, so it’s important to check prior to purchase.
Yes, you may use the remaining funds on your purchase of eligible items, and a credit or debit card to cover the remainder.
Flex will email you an itemized receipt within two hours of your purchase.
Please forward the request from your FSA to support@withflex.com, who can assist with additional information or a new receipt.
Your return will follow the same process and policies for all items at Myprotein.
