Does like it's supposed to
I'm not sure who eats xanthan gum for taste so that's a moot point. It's a good way to thicken anything and mp is the first place I've bought xanthan gum from so I don't have much to compare it to. You use like half a teaspoon for most things unless you want glue so a package will last you a loooong time. It does what it's advertised - no complaints.Goes Well With:protein fluff, soup
