This complex carbohydrate meal is a delicious and ideal post work out meal, and with the addition of prawns it is a good mix of carbs, fat and protein. It can be made in bulk and frozen in portion sizes for a quick health meal.

Lentil Dahl Recipe Ingredients


  • 50g dried dahl lentils
  • 1/3 can coconut milk
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • Chicken stock cube

Lentil Dahl Soup Recipe

Start by cooking the lentils following the instructions on the packet, but add the chicken stock cube to the boiling water

Once cooked drain if needed and add the coconut milk and curry powder

Stir well and add salt and pepper to taste

This will last for 3 days in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer
