Sweet Potato Recipe | Chilli Celery Sticks

If you enjoy the combination of sweet and spicy this dip will be a winning combination! Quick and simple to make and a delicious healthy addition the buffet table!

It will last 3-5 days in the fridge and can be frozen for unto 2 months, another interesting use is mixing a table spoon or two with raw eggs before scrabbling.

Sweet Potato & Chilli Celery Sticks Ingredients


  • 3 medium sized sweet potatoes
  • 1 pot of 170ml fat free Greek yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon ground garlic
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • Chilli flakes (amount to taste)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Sweet Potato & Chilli Celery Sticks Recipe

Wrap the sweet potatoes in tin foil and roast in the oven for 20 minutes on 355 F

(This would be a good time to meal prep by roasting all your sweet potatoes and chicken breasts!)

Leave the sweet potatoes to cool

Once cold, mash the roasted sweet potatoes then add yogurt and stir until evenly mixed

Next add the ground garlic, cumin, chilli flakes, salt and pepper

This can then be piped for presentation down a celery stick and sprinkled with chilli flakes and sesame seeds

Or leave in an airtight container in the fridge for as and when required
