Thanksgiving Recipe | Sweet Potato Donuts

Ingredients

✓ 1 scoop Myprotein Vanilla Impact Whey 

✓ 1 cup steamed/cubed sweet potato (4 oz/120g)

✓ 1/4 cup quick oats (1 oz/20g)

✓ 3 tablespoons of  unsweetened almond milk (46ml)

✓ 3 tablespoons of egg substitute (46ml)

✓ 1/2 tsp cinnamon

✓ 1/2 tsp baking powder

✓ Sweetener to taste if desired

Method

 1. Peel and cube sweet potato

 2. Steam sweet potato until very tender

3. Mash sweet potato

4. Mix remaining ingredients in a separate bowl

 5. Stir in mashed sweet potato

 6. Pour batter in donut pan coated with nonstick spray

 7. Bake at 360 F for 20-25 minutes

 8. Let cool, frost, and top with mini marshmallows

Notes:

✓ You can sub egg whites or whole eggs

✓ Don’t have a donut pan? Bake as muffins (adjust baking time accordingly)

✓ Try topping with frosting, cream cheese, greek yogurt, or cool whip!
