Waffles are pancakes with abs – and these waffles may even help you to get your own abs! Besides packing nearly 30g of protein they contain healthy fats and carbohydrates, great for a post-leg day snack.
Protein Waffle Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 30 g chocolate-banana Impact Whey Protein
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 50 g banana
- 15 g peanut butter
- Chocolate flavored sugarfree syrup
- 5 g coconut oil
- 1 dl water
Protein Waffle Recipe
Turn on the waffle maker and spread it thinly with coconut oil.
Until the iron heats up, first mix the protein with the baking powder, then with the egg, finally dilute the mixture with water.
If the irons are already heated up properly, distribute the dough evenly, lower the roof and depending on the strength of your waffle maker, wait for a few minutes, until the waffles are ready.
Spoon some almond butter to the baked waffles, slice some banana on the top and sprinkle them with some sugar free chocolate syrup.
