Overnight Cinnamon-Vanilla French Toast | High Protein Recipe

Get a little adventurous in the morning and try whipping up this protein-packed French toast the night before, pop it in the oven whilst you get ready for the day ahead and… you get the message!

Indulge at breakfast time – it’s the most important meal of the day.




 1 loaf High Protein Bread

✓ 6 large eggs

✓ 500ml milk

✓ 1 Tbsp. cinnamon plus extra to top

✓ Pinch salt

✓ 8-10 drops Vanilla FlavDrops

✓ 75ml Sugar-Free Syrup (Maple flavour) plus extra to top

✓ 50g crushed nuts


✓ Greek yoghurt

✓ Strawberries



#1 In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, salt, Sugar-Free Syrup and FlavDrops and set aside

#2 Next, cut the slices of bread into halves and put a layer of bread into a casserole dish

#3 Pour over half of the egg and milk mixture, then lay out another layer of bread on top and add the remaining egg and milk mixture

#4 Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight

#5 In the morning, remove from the fridge and preheat the oven to 175°C

#6 Squeeze over more sugar-free syrup, crushed nuts and cinnamon then bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown

#7 Spoon into bowls and dollop yoghurt and fresh strawberries on top. Drizzle over sugar-free syrup and devour!
