Fancy a guilt-free steak dish?
Try our delicious fillet steak, crispy sweet potato wedges and healthier version of creamy peppercorn sauce!
– 1 Sweet potato (4oz)
– 1 Lean Fillet steak (4oz)
– Low calorie spray oil
– 1 tbs Whole pepper corns
– 1 tbs Corn flour
– 100ml Almond Milk
– Pinch of salt
Preheat the oven to 180oC
Cut the sweet potato into wedges lay on a tray and spray with 1 calorie spray oil and put in the oven for 18-20 minutes.
While the wedges are cooking, take your steak and place in a hot frying pan and cook to your liking then leave on a side plate.
Sauce: pour the milk into a pan with salt and peppercorns and bring to the boil.
Mix the corn flour with a dash of water and add to the hot peppery milk.
Stir until all is combined, once thickened remove from the heat/
Cut the meat into slices, dish up the sauce, remove the wedges from the oven, sprinkle with rock salt and serve!
