This healthy burger recipe is a delicious way to enjoy something you eat everyday but in a different way! It’s a great lunch box snack or on hot summer days can be added to the BBQ on a tray.
You will need:
- 200g Minced Turkey
- ½ Medium sized onion
- 3 Egg
- Salt and Pepper
- ½ tsp Mixed Herbs
Healthy Burger Recipe Instructions
Start by thinly chopping the onion then mix with the turkey, salt and pepper and mixed herbs.
Beat 1 egg and then mix together with the turkey mixture.
Split the mix into 2 and roll into balls.
Flatten the balls onto a greased baking tray (around 1cm thick) and using a pastry cutter or normal drinking glass cut a hole out of the middle.
Place into a greased frying pan and cook one side on a medium heat.
After cooking for 10 minutes flip over the burger and crack an egg into the middle then continue cooking on a medium heat until meat is thoroughly cooked.
