One of the things I look forward to the most about Christmas time is all the great food and drinks that come with the season. From cookies to eggnog, Christmas-themed food holds a special place in all our hearts.
One of my favorites is the mint chocolate milk that will be sold in the cardboard carton at the grocery store. Many fast-food restaurants and ice cream chains have created shakes topped with whipped cream and hot fudge that just make these shakes to die for. What I’ve found is a recipe that only tastes amazing, but will pack a high-carb and high-protein punch to help your recover from your most intense workouts.
✓ 8 oz. 2% milk
✓ 5 pieces mint chocolate candy
✓ ½ cup of Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
✓ 2 scoops Impact Whey Protein- Mint Chocolate Flavor
✓ Handful of ice
✓ 2 Tablespoons of Sugar-Free Chocolate Syrup
1. Put milk, chocolate candy, ice cream, protein and ice all in a blender and blend on high for 20-30 seconds
2. Pour into a frosted mug for ultimate pleasure and top with fat-free whipped cream along with another shot of chocolate syrup
