Chickpea & Turmeric Vegetarian Curry Recipe

This recipe is not just for the non-meat eaters out there! It is super tasty and speedy to make and will curb any curry craving.

Chickpea Curry Ingredients


  • 1 can of cooked chickpeas
  • 4 handfuls of fresh spinach
  • 1 small white onion
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes (Optional)
  • 1 tbs coconut oil
  • Salt and pepper

Chickpea Curry Recipe

  1. Thinly slice the onion and garlic
  2. Add the coconut oil to a pan and cook the onion and garlic until soft
  3. Add the turmeric and chilli flakes
  4. Drain the can of chickpeas and pour into the pan
  5. Lastly add the spinach, salt and pepper mix well
  6. This will last in the fridge for 3 days or freezer for 3 months
