It doesn't matter what I mix it with water or milk, it ALWAYS leave clumps. It sticks to my Shaker cup no matter how hard I shake it. You will have to add more water than you usually do with other protein powders. Consistency is very chalky. It does not taste like chocolate at all. Stay away.

Honestly, this protein is fairly sub par. It accomplishes what it sets out to as far as a protein, but it's taste and mix-ability are very bad. It tastes very chalky and has a very grainy consistency. The only upside is the fact that it is quite a bit cheaper than it's competitors.

This is SUPER hard to mix with water. I usually need to use my blender to mix it. But it gets the job done. It definitely has a strong soy flavor. I purchased the chocolate flavor, but the soy is the only flavor I can taste. I will just buy the unflavored one next time! I mix it with BCAA, because I usually workout before breakfast. The flavor of BCAA makes it taste better.

I wanted to like this product so that I could better support my wife's efforts to go vegan, but even mixing it at a 1:3 ratio with Impact Whey Isolate, the soy powder is grainy and sinks to the bottom. I'm just going to finish off the bag by mixing small amounts into food. I can't use it in drinks. There is no replacing Impact Whey Isolate.

I have tried to mix this stuff with everything, and no matter what it is still incredibly disgusting. The texture is what gets me, I can't even choke it down. Don't buy because its a good deal, make sure you research what soy protien taste like. I wish I could return it but now I have a 5 lb bag that I just look at

I initially brought this protein to complement my recent endeavor into vegetarianism. I read all of the reviews and decided that I could deal with the taste and texture, as I'm used to buying unflavored protein and supplements. I was, however, not prepared for the literal pancake batter pudding that this particular protein powder produces. I have mixed this with water, milk and various juices. I have blended it in a Ninja, Vitamix, and used a blender bottle. Nothing. Absolutely nothing cuts the chalky texture, or stops it from forming a viscous, partially gelatinous, unflavored, mildly sandy porridge for your protein supplementing pleasure. This powder may be useful in actual pancake, cake or other confectionery batter; however, I would implore you to dig deep, really explore your emotional attachment to soy, and make a pragmatic decision about this. This is not for your blender bottle. It does not matter what you do or how hard you shake (ha!) it. is. not. worth. the. drinking. pain. This stuff may actually make a decent beer batter - I may try that to make myself feel better about fried items. Like, ordering a diet coke with my triple bacon (soy bacon) burger (veggie burgers now). Just order the whey, unless you're really in to thick, thicc...pudding.

I mix this protein with oatmeal, almond milk, and baking. It mixes well and has a pretty good taste to it. The chocolate taste may not be strong but nothing is unpleasant about the product. I like how there isn't a lot of added sodium like much soy and pea protein. I would recommend this product to active vegans. Mix it with the oats!

This mixes well within my smoothies however the taste is something that could be improved. By itself (or with milk) it does not taste well but when mixed with ingredients such as fruits, peanut butter, etc., the subpar taste goes away.

Macros are good, low fat and carb, high protein with such a low price when it is on sale. As for the mixability, because the nature of the powder, it is very thick, I mix the powder with a little water or milk first using a spoon, then add more water/milk and shake them in a shake bottle. there is no chalk at all. I like soy milk, this one taste exactly like soy milk after mixing in milk, but without all the fat and carbs. It taste better after microwaving. And, I got the product five days before expected delivery. After all, I am totally satisfied.

I like the consistency and mixability of soy protein. HOWEVER I am so frustrated that this has become one of the only vegan protein options for the U.S. now. Please bring back pea and brown rice protein!! I don't want to be eating an excess amount of soy protein in my diet. I will continue to buy my proteins elsewhere if my only option is soy.

I really like this soy protein as a substitute for dairy products. I mix it with a little less water and a few flavor drops and it makes a thick great tasting "pudding." Sodium content is a little bit higher than most other powders but I don't notice any effect on taste. It doesn't really have much of a taste when just mixed with water, it is a lot thicker than whey powders though. I'd recommend it.

I bought this protein as I am lactose intolerant and egg white protein powders are just too expensive for me. I have only had one shake so far and I would lie if I didn't say that my stomach churned while drinking this!! I mixed 1 scoop with a little soy milk, water and 7 of the maple syrup drops with some 1/3 cup of raspberries. The shake was very thick and it tasted a bit like batter. Not that impressed but its very cheap! However, I have just noticed the best before date is Feb 2017 and I bought 5.5lbs!! Hopefully I will get through all of that so I havent wasted my money but that was a bit of a disappointed. Other than that, the protein content is higher than egg white protein, zero fat and little carbs so thats a winner. Will keep trying to see if I can make this taste nice!!!
