I was looking for a protein that would keep me full for longer. Switching from whey to casein so far has proven to be the right choice. The flavour is great, although I've never had any issues with the brands flavours before. Mixabilty and texture are both positive. I mix with 16oz of water and have not experienced any clumping or glooping which I read can be an issue with Casein. Only negative would be that the texture is a little grainy compared to whey protein. Goes Well With:Milk, water, and smothies
Report this reviewGreat shake to start your day! I consume 1 shake every morning on the way to work. Keeps me full till lunch ( I've had a sleeve gastroeconomy ) and provides the protein needed to keep up with the hussle at work. Mixes very easily with either a ninja blender ( single cup ) or in a mixing cup with mixing ball. Separates alittle if made the night before, but shakes up quickly. Perfect consistency with whole milk, on the thicker side with soy. Chocolate smoothie flavour similar to that of a Wendy's frosty, albit a lighter taste.Goes Well With:Milk, soy milk
Report this reviewI love this brand, I gain muscles pretty good, flavor perfect. I recommend it!Goes Well With:Water or milk
Report this reviewI love the taste of the smooth chocolate flavor. Usually with casein you get a thick consistency and sometimes awful taste and it's hard to take down, but this one has the consistency of a slightly thicker protein shake and I mean only slightly thicker which is awesome and It tastes as good as a protein shake too. It blends easier than any other casein I've used. To blend I'm just using a blender bottle spring and an mason jar. Goes Well With:water
Report this reviewI have ordered from this site plenty of times and have always been satisfied. It tasted great and mixes well with the liquid of your choice! I make cookies quite oftenGoes Well With:water, pudding mix
Report this reviewGreat casein protein. Cookies n cream flavor is tasty. Unfortunately myprotein uses a generic scooper for all for their proteins, regardless of serving size. Doesn't create an issue with something like the impact whey that is a 25g serving. But sadly the flavored casein proteins are a 30g serving, which means you're gonna have to eye ball a "rounded" scoop when you measure. Not the end of the world per-se, but when it comes down to ratings, it gives it 4 out of 5 stars for me.Goes Well With:Milk, water.
Report this reviewMixes very well, is great for when you want that slower release of protein, especially for a bedtime snack.(Works great with Greek yogurt)The only reason I didn't rate the taste higher was because I got the unflavored casein.Goes Well With:You could mix it with whey to get the combination of fast and slow protein absorption.
Report this reviewI use a scoop or two of this every night before bed to cap off my macros for the day and to ensure there’s some protein digesting overnight. I love this product but I would never buy strawberry cream again, it tastes awful. Definitely going to invest in chocolate next time. I bought 5.5lb of this and whey isolate at the same time and the chocolate whey isolate is the best tasting protein I’ve ever had so I think it’s just the strawberry cream. Also the pouch was slightly open at the zipper when it arrived in the mail, probably due to poor UPS handling. Didn’t have the problem with the isolate pouch.
Report this reviewTastes great. I love to make a snack before bed of frozen banana, peanut butter, casein, and extra water and or ice. So good!
Report this reviewCookies and cream is your worst dream. The flavor is repulsive and hard to swallow. It has a strange after-taste I am not sure how to describe. It's like woodchips that have been slightly roasted in the back of my throat. If you must try it, get the smallest pouch available. I do, however, recommend Chocolate Smooth. In milk it's indistinguishable from chocolate milk. Add some ice, shake well and it thickens up on its own for an on-the-go shake. It's also important to note that, because of that thickening property, you will need to add more fluid than normal to keep it from becoming a solid mass. 1/2 cup - 1 cup more per scoop usually does the trick. Vanilla isn't awful but it isn't great either. It's at least tolerable. As stated, all of these mix up rather thick and are a very fine powder. The powder will get everywhere and sticks pretty much anywhere it lands. You will need to shake these with agitators. Sometimes there are chunks left behind at the bottom of the cup so you'll also need to use a knife to make sure there are no hidden dry pockets before shaking. Sometimes no amount of agitation can get them moving.Goes Well With:Milk, oats, peanut butter, bananas
