Do not buy, buckle after less 8 months

1

The belt was way too big when it arrived so i had to drill more holes in it. After less then 8 months of use (used it maybe twice a week) the buckle shattered and now the whole belt is usless because of it. In my opinion this belt is a waste of your money.

Good Belt, Questionable Quality.

Had this belt for a little less than a year, and has been great until about a month ago when the metal lever broke. As it is a cast metal I don't see any way of repairing so as of now the belt is unusable. I'm a bodybuilder and don't do crazy powerlifts or anything. If MyProtein sends a replacement metal lever I would rate 5 stars, we will see.

Sizing. But still great

Overall:

Great belt for lifting. I've had no issues with it besides having to add a couple of more holes manually to fit my waist.

The belt is amazing in compound movements, except in squats. In conclusion this belt is amazing for deadlifts, Summo or traditional, and any other compound movement.

Heavy lifting belt

4
Overall:

This is an excellent belt. It's similar to that "famous" belt in design and function with it's lever style clasp and super durable material. For the price, it can be touched. Othe belts like this cost at least $65. There are a couple of issues that kept me from rating this 5/5 stars. First, it's way too large. This can be fixed by cutting off a foot or more off the end, and punching new holes to re-attach the lever. This is is easily done with the right tools. The other issue is that the holes on the opposite side of the lever attachment are cut in an oval shape. This allows the clasp to slide as outward force is applied by your abdomen. The prongs appear to be ready to slip from the holes, which is no reassuring on heavy lifts. I will be cutting smaller round holes to remedy this. Overall, this is a solid product at an unbeatable price.

Myprotein Heavy Duty Lifting Belt

5

This was the first belt that I have ever bought. I really do appreciate the extra help that it has given me in my heavy weight lifting. this belt is really a heavy duty belt, very thick, and strong. Trust me when I say this you will not regret buying this belt, when it comes to judging how it enhances your performances. The only problem with this belt was, when I received it. It was to big but no problem extra holes I made and boom it fits perfectly..

Assembly Required

Overall:

Almost same quality as the Inzer belts that sell for $80-100. As many reviewers have said, if you have 35" or smaller waist, you will need a screw driver, drill bit, a marker, to drill some holes in the belt. Drilled 3 extra holes and I wear a 34" pants. The locking system works great. I think belt is little bit wider than the Inzer belts, because it pokes into my rib cage or hips when i squat. Buying MyProteins other lifting belt for olympic lifting. This belt can be used for Squats and Deadlifts, Nearly impossible for snatches, cleans, other olympic lifts.

Squats. DeadLift.

Belt Quality: 9/10 (belt itself is of good quality but the metal finishing is a little lacking but does not effect the way the belt works, I would suggest to switch the flat head screws with new ones (standard sizing) Fit: 5/10 If you are a waist size 36 or lower you will need to cut your own holes, holes were very easy to cut though Effectiveness: 10/10 Gets the job done, and for this price you can't complain

SQUATS

Runs Large but Effective

5
Overall:

I had to drill new holes so that the belt would fit me, but after doing so, the belt worked great for me. I have been able to lift heavier with no worries of injury and I have been able to make more strength gains with it. If you are considering buying this belt, you should know that it runs large and may have to make modifications to make it fit you.

A belt for heavy lifts

5

Had to trim the belt down and punch in some new holes because I have a smaller waist. But after the modification, the belt fit nicely on my waist. This belt has the exact same design as a standard Inzer belt so it definitely is beneficial to the heavy lifts.
